Born in 1963 in Yerevan, Armenia.
1983 – Graduated from the Art College after P. Terlemezian.
1991 – Master of Arts from the State Acadmey of Fine Arts, Yerevan, Armenia.
The name “SHARZHY” is the artistic name of Karen Baghdasaryan and it means “MOVE” in Armenian. This artistic name was given to the artist by some art critics and art lovers, based on the fact that Karen Baghdasaryan’s sculptures are not only static, but they also move. The artists thinks that “Movement” provides perpetuity to the universe and mankind.
